Weiss Words
For a couple years I (Michael) have been prayerfully pondering the question; "What Does God Want and Why." I think an answer is found in John 3:16, "For God so loved (Why) the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life (What)." Ok, what is this What, eternal life? I think the answer is found in John 17:3, Jesus speaking to the Father says, "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." These two verses answer my question, "What Does God Want and Why?" God wants us to know Him because He loves us. Pretty Cool!!!
In the ministry name, J3 refers to John 3:16/17:3 and Khai is the English translation of the Hebrew word for Life.

Readson's - Malawi, Southeastern Africa
Patrick and Mervis co-pastor a church in Blantyre and coach more than 25 pastor couples all over their country. I love to love on them, encourage them and help them do the same with their congregation and the couples they mentor. Patrick (Bachelor Degree in Community Development), his brother-in-law, Christopher (Bachelor Degree in Business), and brother, Edward (Certified Plumber), are diligently looking for employment, but since their lower courts have recently declared last year's elections invalid the economy and job market are unstable. Their niece (Glory), son (Joel) and daughter (Esther), are receiving excellent education, because people like you are providing funds to cover their education fees.
Note: Mervis is due to give birth to their third child next month. They do not have the $175 (130,000 MWK) to cover the hospital labor and delivery costs. Will you provide some or all of what they need to have their child born in a high-quality hospital?
Kargbo's - Sierra Leone, West Africa
Since my first visit to Sierra Leone in 2011, Osman and I have met regularly on the phone or using live video on Zoom. Osman has grown in his relationship with Jesus and leads a small group every week teaching from th
e Scriptures about following Christ and helping them do the same. Osman is married to Claudette; they do not have any children. We have raised funds for him to complete 75% of an accounting certificate, and we oversee $125 (1,202,000 SL) that we send a month to cover some living, internet and transportation costs. He and Claudette want a place of their own. The going rent is $100 (970,000 SL) a month which needs to be paid one year in advance ($1,200 = 11,638,733 SL). Will you provide a one-time gift of $200, $400 or $600 to help them have their own home for a year?
Muderhwa's - Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa
I met Flavie
n through a friend in DRC. He is married to Naomi: they have two children, Maria and Jimmy James. Flavian’s passion is his family and making disciples, just like Osman. He currently meets with 3 disciples weekly, who are each meeting with their own disciples. I’m the spiritual Dad to Flavien, his 3 disciples are my spiritual grandchildren, those they are now helping are my spiritual great-grandchildren, and on it will goes.
Bikoi's - Cameroon, Central Africa
I met Andre in Cameroon at a military minister training event where I taught. He is a very smart man, who loves to read and study. To see how faithful he was, I purchased a book of his choice each month using Amazon which he read using Kindle on his iPad. After he gave me a 3-page summary of each book, I bought him a new one. He faithfully read each all that I sent him, and provided me with insightful summary. He pastors 4 "bush" churches in eastern Cameroon, and has two young children. His passion is to complete a Master’s Degree in Bible, and be a Bible School Teacher.
We call ourselves the "J3 Ambassadors" and meet as a group every Friday from 7am to 9am EST using Zoom. We are working our way through the Gospel of Luke, and have paused at Luke 2:41 to see why Joseph and Mary went to Jerusalem each year to celebrate the Passover.
