Jehovah bless you and keep you, Jehovah make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, Jehovah lift up his countenance upon you and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
It’s Opening Day
In the Big Inning God. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He alone I trust.
I am in the major surgery league now. I am a little nervous but Father’s Grace Bubble surrounds and fills me with the perfect amount of grace I need.
A miracle for me is a Normacle for God. He has my back and together he say’s “we’ve got this.”
God’s love for us started before time began, so he has loved us longer than anyone else.
God’s plan A, because he loves us, is and always will be us knowing Father, the one true God, and Jesus the Messiah, whom the Father sent (John 3:16/17:3).
I am so glad I have a moment-by-moment relationship with God (Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit).
I am not “looking anxiously about” because I am in the palm of God’s hand and he is helping and strengthening me.
I am grateful for you, you are precious and special all day long, you’re my best buddy.
Because God loved me first, I love him and you,
See you soon,
Shalom,
Michael Jay Weiss, Sr., The Khai Guy
“The Gospel (Good News) is about how good God is not how bad I am.”
“Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom.“ Numbers 6:24-26
“I enjoyed my time with the Lord this morning. Many good thoughts. It is like a satisfying meal. The one that I wanted to share comes out of Psalm 100 and says, ‘Serve the Lord with gladness.’”
“There are many ways to serve the Lord and I think that gladness is low on the list, if it makes it at all.”
“Many, I suspect, serve the Lord from a sense of duty or obligation. It is what we ought to do, what we should do, what we must do. There is no joy in it. And when you have labored hard…there is yet more to do. The work is insurmountable.”
“Some, I think, serve the Lord from fear. The fear that somehow God will ‘get’ me, punish me, express displeasure if I am not working hard. No joy here either”
“Some, I think, serve the Lord from a desire for glory and out of pride. You collect a team of guys, you speak well, you shine in the disciplines…there is glory and pride there. We all want the approval and applause of men.”
“But…to serve the Lord with gladness.”
“I think it is impossible to do whatever relationship, without a focus on our relationship with Jesus. Impossible without a conviction that we are desired, loved, delighted in. Impossible without the humility that understands that it is our Father’s work and he invites us to participate for His glory now we’re good.”
“It has taken me years to move or grow to this point in my thinking. And it comes and goes. None of us get it right all the time and perhaps not much of the time. We don’t have to. A compass and a good heading will always get us out of the swamp. It is still true that a righteous man falls 7 times and rises again.”
“When our father looks at us (and we are always under his gaze) he sees us through the righteousness of his son Jesus. We are acceptable, delighted in, and loved.”
Letter written to Michael from David Coffield, postmarked 21 Nov 20.

Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
The Good News, The Gospel, is more about how good God is than how bad you are. God sent Jesus to restore our relationship with him becasue he “so loves us.” Please listen to Father invite you into a closer relationship with him through this Prophetic Word : “Latitude & Indulgence” he gave Graham Cooke.
Father so wants you to know and be close to him!!!
Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
Our parents did not control who we are and do/did not love us perfectly!!!
God designed us before he created anything and loves us perfectly!!!
Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
In Numbers 6:22, 23 we see Yehovah tell Moses to tell Aaron, and his sons, “this is how you are to bless the people of Israel, you are to say to them.”
Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
“In this way they are to put my name on the people of Israel, so that I will bless them. (verse 27)”
In verse 23 Yehovah makes it clear how the preists are to bless the people, “this is how you are to bless the people.”
In verse 27 Yehovah makes it clear that when the priests “put” God’s Name on the people he will bless them, “so that I will bless them.”
In Exodus 3 God tells Moses that “I AM WHO I AM” (YHWH rendered as Yehovah or Yahweh) “is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations.” In most english bibles YHWH is rendered LORD. But LORD is one of his titles, not his Name.
God promises to bless those who have his Name, I use Yehovah, put on/spoken over them.
I don’t know how God is going to bless you when I get to put his Name, Yehovah, on you, when you listen to this blessing, but I know he is going to becasue he said he would!!!
Father God has also called me to blow the shofar over people and places to invoke his presence. With his presence comes all his goodness, grace and love.
As priests (see Ex 19:6; Rev 1:6, 5:10) I believe we have the privelige to invoke/put God’s Name, Yehovah, on people so he will bless them.
“‘Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel. (Ex 19:5, 6)”
“John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Rev 1:4-6)”
“And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth. (Rev 5:9, 10)'”
Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
I am grateful and thankful for being an American. That Father God ordained me to be born in the United States by Americans and adopted by Americans. I love this beautiful flawed country and consider it an honor to have been a Soldier defending it’s Constitution for 30 years.
But, I am most grateful and thankful for being born again into the family of God, an everlasing citizen of Kingdom of God. That Father God thought of and planned my creation and birth before he created anything. I love this beautiful perfect kingdom and consider it an honor to represent King Jesus as his friend and ambassador on earth.
“Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms,
may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn.
Manifest your kingdom realm, and
cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth,
Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you shalom. Numbers 6:24-26
A number of friends have killed themselves and I, like their family members and other friends, have wrestled with “the difficult moral, societal and religious implications” of how they ended their lives. We have also blamed ourselves for not noticing the warning signs. VA has excellent resources and ways to help you grow through the suicide loss of a military family member, friend or battle buddy. Below is an excerpt from VA’s webpage “Helping survivors work through emotions.” Click the link above to go straight the webpage to read more and find how they can help you.
“Veterans have a significantly higher suicide rate than other adults in the U.S. This means Veterans are also more likely to have known someone who took their own life. Uniting for Suicide Postvention (USPV) helps make sense of a suicide loss. The program connects survivors with resources to help them work through powerful and unique emotions specific to this type of grief.”
“Compared with many other kinds of loss, suicide can be particularly challenging for survivors. Specifically, they must wrestle with the difficult moral, societal and religious implications.”
“Shock at the suddenness of the death may compound their grief. Or they may feel a mix of shame, anger, guilt and, sometimes, relief.”
“Some survivors blame themselves for not noticing warning signs, even though such signs may not have been obvious. And the effects extend beyond close family members. Even first responders, who never personally knew the deceased person, can be affected emotionally by the suicide scene.”

I could not have served 30 years as a U.S. Army Soldier without the love, support and encouragement of Darlene and family, my Homefront Heroes. Our military spouses don’t pack an A bag or wear the uniform but they do much more than we imagine and thank them for. They need help, encouragement and support when were deployed or not. Please support your local military wives faith based support groups like Protestant Women of the Chaplel, Catholic Women of the Chapel and Homefront Heroes.

Colossians 1:15-20 crafted into a personal prayer:
My heart soars with joyful gratitude when I think of how you, Heavenly Father, made me worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely by living in the light of Jesus. You have rescued me completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and have transferred me into the kingdom realm of your beloved Son. For in Jesus all my sins are canceled, and I have the release of redemption through his very blood. Father I praise you, the invisible God, for making Jesus your divine portrait, your true likeness, and the firstborn heir of all creation. I also praise you for choosing to create everything through him, both in the heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen. Creating every seat of power, realm of government, principality, and authority—through Jesus and for his purpose! Father I am amazed that Jesus existed before anything was made, and now everything finds completion in him only. I praise you Jesus, the Head of your body, the church, because you are the beginning and the firstborn heir in resurrection, because you are the most exalted One, and hold first place in everything. Father I praise you for being satisfied to have all your fullness dwell in your Son Jesus. And by the blood of Jesus cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to you—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!

What Is A Veteran?
by Marine Corps Chaplain, Father Denis Edward O’Brian
Some veterans bear visible signs of their service: a missing limb, a jagged scar, a certain look in the eye. Others may carry the evidence inside them, a pin holding a bone together, a piece of shrapnel in the leg – or perhaps another sort of inner steel: the soul’s ally forged in the refinery of adversity.
Except in parades, however, the men and women who have kept America safe wear no badge or emblem. You can’t tell a vet just by looking. What is a vet?
A vet is the cop on the beat who spent six months in Saudi Arabia sweating two gallons a day making sure the armored personnel carriers didn’t run out of fuel.
A vet is the barroom loudmouth, dumber than five wooden planks, whose overgrown frat-boy behavior is outweighed a hundred times in the cosmic scales by four hours of exquisite bravery near the 38th Parallel.
A vet is the nurse who fought against futility and went to sleep sobbing every night for two solid years in Da Nang.
A vet is the POW who went away as one person and came back another – or didn’t come back at all.
A vet is the drill instructor who has never seen combat – but has saved countless lives by turning slouchy, no-account punks and gang members into marines, airmen, sailors, soldiers and coast guardsmen, and teaching them to watch each other’s backs.
A vet is the parade-riding Legionnaire who pins on his ribbons and medals with a prosthetic hand.
A vet is the career quartermaster who watches the ribbons and medals pass him by.
A vet is the three anonymous heroes in The Tomb Of The Unknowns, whose presence at the Arlington National Cemetery must forever preserve the memory of all the anonymous heroes whose valor dies unrecognized with them on the battlefield or in the ocean’s sunless deep.
A vet is the old guy bagging groceries at the supermarket – palsied now and aggravatingly slow – who helped liberate a Nazi death camp and who wishes all day long that his wife were still alive to hold him when the nightmares come.
A vet is an ordinary and yet extraordinary human being, a person who offered some of his life’s most vital years in the service of his country, and who sacrificed his ambitions so others would not have to sacrifice theirs.
A vet is a soldier and a savior and a sword against the darkness, and he [or she] is nothing more that the finest, greatest testimony on behalf of the finest, greatest nation ever known.
So, remember, each time you see someone who has served our country, just lean over and say, “Thank You.” That’s all most people need, and in most cases, it will mean more than any medals they could have been awarded or were awarded.
Again, two little words that mean a lot to any Veteran — “THANK YOU.”
Happy Veteran’s Day fellow Vets and Thank You, Sergeant Major Michael J. Weiss, U.S. Army Retired.
Yehovah bless you and keep you; Yehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
Our friend, mentor and coach, Dave Coffield, sends me a letter a couple times a month that Darlene affectionately calls “Dave’s Epistle’s.” I have shared from his Epistle’s before, below is from one of his most recent letters.
“I hear from time to time the idea that we need to strive to be pleasing to God and not to displease Him. We live with the nagging, background fear that we might slip up, might not try hard enough, might come up short. It is a performance mindset and once you start down that road there is no good outcome. God’s standard for being pleased is perfection. Absolute, utter perection. Good luck with that. “
“I would suggest that God is totally pleased with us because He views us through the shed blood of His Son Jesus, through the righteousness with which we are clothed becasue of His mercy, grace, and love. It says something wonderful about Him, not us.”
“The motivation to live pleasing to our Father is based on His love relationship with us. It is not performance; it is a response to the marvel of who He is and the wonder of His love for us.”
“I am free to engage with Jesus becasue I don’t have to. He won’t love me more becasue I have been “good” today; and He won’t love me less if I have been “bad.” He either loves us completely, accepts us completely, is completely pleased with us right now, or He never will. It is all about the finished work of Jesus.”
