We have moved from NC to Springfield, Missouri and glad we did it. We are getting more and more settled as boxes get unpack and our things are put in their new places.
Our new address is: 4535 S. Crescent Ave, Springfield, MO 65804. We are using the same phone numbers.
Darlene is all smiles now that she is close to her Mom, Brother Pat, a Nephew, a Niece and their families.
Today Darlene took three steps forward and three steps backward and Friday night we enjoyed pizza night together and Darlene sat on the edge of the bed the entire time!
Come, click on this link Joy to the World message by Pastor Steve Morgan, and enjoy an excellent Advent message by my Pastor Steve Morgan last Sunday. He uses Isaac Watts song, Joy To The World, and Psalm 98, the Psalm Isaac used to write this song, as he encouraged us to rejoice with heaven and earth because “The Lord is come.” Especially check out the worship band present their rendition of Joy to the Earth.
Steve’s message begins around the 55 minute point into the service if you want to start their. After he shares a little the worship band comes up and presents Joy to the World and then Steve continues he message.

I’m happy to let you know that Michael is out of surgery! The doctor says the surgery went as planned, with no complications, and his heart function looks “great.”
He is on his way to the ICU, and I know he will be grateful for your continued prayers. I will share again as updates on his condition are shared.
Thank you again, for praying. We are all grateful for the gift of his life, and celebrate the prayers of intercession that were sent on behalf of Michael and his entire family.
God bless you, and thank-you, to all who have prayed!!

Friends, Darlene and I are blessed and grateful for your love and prayers, thank you.
As many of you know I am scheduled to have heart by-pass surgery tomorrow, Monday April 19th, at 2 pm, unless Father heals me first. We are going to use my blog, www.j3khai.com, to provide updates about the surgery and my recovery.
For those who didn’t know why I am having heart surgery the story goes like this. After my CrossFit workout Wednesday evening my chest hurt really bad. I thought it was from the intense workout I just finished. The chest pains continued for a number of hours but were gone Thursday morning, so I went about my day. Thursday afternoon they returned, less intense, but still painful. I checked WebMD for heart attack symptoms and realized I had many of them, so I headed to the closet ER.
Blood tests revealed I had a high level, 31.6, of a protein, Troponin, our body creates when our heart muscle is damaged, it should be 0. An angiogram showed my front left artery (LAD) was 90% blocked and the blockage was to long for a stint. I was moved from Chesapeake General Hospital to Sentara Norfolk Heart Hospital Friday morning to undergo additional exams and be scheduled for surgery.
